POLICE arrested in a law enforcement operation one of the most wanted persons in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, an official said Monday, July 20.
Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Alexander Andulong Zamora, 27, a taxi driver and resident of Kawit village, Pagadian City.
Galvez said Zamora was nabbed when an arrest warrant was served against him around 10:15 a.m. Sunday, July 19, in 19-B village, Davao City.
The operation was conducted by joint police team from Pagadian City and San Pedro Police Station, Davao City.
Zamora, who has been listed as the number 6 most wanted person of Pagadian City, has a standing warrant of arrest for murder with no recommended bail issued on May 12, 2016 by the court of Pagadian City.
Galvez said the suspect was temporarily detained at the San Pedro Police Station, Davao City for documentation and will be transported to Pagadian City for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
