PSC mohatag og 500 ka mga laptops aron gamiton kontra sa coronavirus

ANG Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) modonar sa computer sets nga gigamit niadtong 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games alang sa programa sa pagpakigbatok sa coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

Moabot sa 500 ka laptops ang ipanghatag sa PSC alang sa workforce sa gobiyerno batok sa pandemya lakip na ang Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), ang nangulo sa Covid-19 response.

Ang nasod ni-host sa 30th SEA Games sa 2019 ug nahimong overall champion ang Pilipinas human makasakmit og 149 gold medals, 117 silvers ug 121 bronzes.

Ang 300 ka laptops maadto sa Office of the President-Presidential Management Staff (PMS) ni Assistant Secretary Joseph Encabo samtang ang laing 100 units maadto sa technical working group sa IATF ni Deputy Chief Implementer Vince Dizon.

Si Senador Christopher Lawrence Go makadawat usab og units nga gamiton alang sa iyang Balik Probinsiya, Bagong Pag-Asa Program (BP2).

Matod ni PSC Chief of Staff and National Training Director Marc Velasco nga mausik ang mga computer unit kung anaa lang sa storage maong ilaha kining ihatag aron magamit sa IATF.

“These are units used during the country’s hosting of the Southeast Asian Games last year, they will be put to good use with these donations,” matod ni Velasco.

“The PSC board readily approved the request.”

Si Encabo nangayo sab og tabang sa PSC nga mopadala og volunteers nga motabang sa pag-uli sa Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI).

“This will help fast track our actions on the concerns of the LSIs (Locally-Stranded Individuals),” matod ni Encabo sa iyang suwat kang PSC Chairman William “Butch” Ramirez.

Ang PSC mipagamit sa ilang facilities sa Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Ninoy Aquino Stadium ug PhilSports Arena isip make-shift Covid-19 centers. (RSC)
