Porac records 2 new Covid-19 cases

PORAC -- Two more coronavirus (Covid-19) cases have been added in this town as local health officials report cases from Barangays Poblacion and Manibaug Paralaya.

The rural health unit Porac reports that one of the latest cases is from Barangay Paralaya.

The patient is an employee of a power utility and is stationed in their office from another town. The patient experienced mild fever and flu-like symptoms last July 17 and had to stay home in Barangay Manibaug Paralaya.

He underwent swab test on July 22 and results came back positive on July 24. The patient is currently confined at the Jose B. Lingad Regional Memorial District Hospital.

Four close contacts have also been isolated.

Another case is from Barangay Poblacion. The patient is a frontliner and is now confined in a health facility inside Clark Freeport.

Since the start of the pandemic, this town had recorded seven corona virus cases, two of which are currently active.
