Magalang town logs 3 active Covid-19 cases

MAGALANG -- The municipal government here has recorded three active cases of Covid-19, as of July 27, 2020.

Patient M5, an overseas Filipino worker who is asymptomatic, is now under quarantine at the New Clark City.

Patient M6, a frontliner from Barangay San Francisco who developed mild symptoms of Covid-19, is presently admitted to a private hospital in the City of San Fernando and waiting for the second swab test result.

Patient M7, who experienced mild symptoms of Covid-19, is also a frontliner in Metro Manila who arrived in this town on July 22.

The patient who resides in Barangay Santa Lucia isolated himself from his family to prevent infection.

Mayor Romy Pecson ordered for a contact tracing after learning of Patient M7.

Aside from these, the local government is monitoring some 73 suspected Covid-19 patients and one probable case in Barangay San Roque.

The mayor appealed to his constituents to stay home and always observe the minimum health standards to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the town.
