AFTER its successful signing of team captain Stephan Schröck, four more ex-Ceres-Negros FC footballers were signed by United City FC.

Among those who signed up are Jose Elmer "OJ" Porteria, Sean Patrick Kane, Ron Bayan, and Jun Badelic.

Poteria will be playing his third club in the Philippines. He began his professional career with Kaya FC in 2012 where he had 36 goals in 55 appearances while he had a successful stint with the Busmen since he joined in 2017 having scored 32 goals in 69 games. He also competed in the Singapore Cup, AFC Cup, and AFC Champions League.

The inclusion of the 26-year-old attacking midfielder in the United City is expected to strengthen the club's offense.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Kane played a vital role in the Ceres FC campaign last season. The Fil-Irish center back started his pro career in the Philippines with Kaya FC then JPV Voltes Marikina before settled with the Busmen in 2018.

Meanwhile, the two other players are both goalkeepers who then played behind Ceres FC top custodian Roland Muller.

Bayan, who suited up for Davao Aguilas FC before seeing action with the Busmen is expected to find his spot this season with the United City.

During his collegiate years, Bayan was named NCAA's best goalkeeper in 2014 -- playing for Arellano University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

On the other hand, Badelic is also seeing action for this third club. He started his pro-career for Global FC from 2013-2018 and then transferred to Ceres-Negros last season. Like Bayan, Badelic is also expected to step-up when the Philippines Football League resumes.
