GUAGUA -- The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) in Pampanga will start its training programs in the province that were put on halt due to the spread of the coronavirus disease-2019.
This after the Provincial Government has given its go signal for the start of training programs according to Board Member Anthony Joseph Torres.
Torres added that the province maintains its commitment to support Tesda programs in Pampanga.
Tesda training in the whole of Pampanga and Region III have been put on hold due to restrictions under the quarantine protocols to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease.
Tesda Pampanga director Eric O. Ueda said that the training programs will start on August at the most.
Training centers and partners in Pampanga are expected to start Tesda programs soon.
Ueda said that the trainings will observe the requirements set by government and will ensure that health standards are observed.
He added that blended learning schemes are also in the works.
This was announced during the inauguration of the Tesda Training Center in Barangay Santa Ursula in Guagua town. The inauguration was led by Mayor Dante Torres and Regional Director Major General Jesus Fajardo.
