DILI tugotan ni Mayor Edgardo Labella nga moabli og balik karong panahon sa general commumity quarantine (GCQ) ang mga internet cafe sa dakbayan sa Sugbo.
Kini bisan nihatag na og signal ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) nga makabalik na og operate ang nahisgutang establisemento gumikan sa hulga sa transmission sa Covid-19.
“In so far as Cebu City is concern, I will not allow the opening of internet cafe’s yet because I made an inspection, it is very difficult to impose social distancing because many of our internet cafe’s are very compact. There is really a need to have an observance of the minimum health protocol,” padayag ni Labella.
Ang Inter Agency Task Force nitugot sa pag-abli sa testing ug tutorial centers, review centers, gyms, fitness centers and sport facilities, internet cafes, personal grooming, aesthetic services, pet grooming, ug drive-in cinemas diin 30 porsiyento sa ilang kapasidad ang gitugot.
“I will not allow yet not unless we can be assured that the set up in the internet cafes are compliant with the minimum health requirements because usually most of the customers are school children who are also prohibited to go outside from their respective homes during this time,” paghulagway sa mayor.
