MGCQ extended in Valencia, Bukidnon until August 15

VALENCIA City Mayor Azucena has issued Executive Order (EO) No. 53, extending the modified general community quarantine in the city from August 1 to August 15, 2020.

Likewise, the adjusted barangay clustering schedule and adjusted LGUs clustering schedule enforced under EO No. 43 are lifted.

Residents from the 31 barangays and from local government units within and outside Bukidnon are now allowed to enter at any day the establishments within Valencia City to access essential goods and services and for other permitted activities, the EO stated.

All establishments, however, must still enforce crowd-control mechanisms and strict guidelines to avoid overcrowding and ensure that physical distancing inside the stores and in the waiting areas and common open spaces are implemented.

The EO further stated that the curfew time of Valencia City will remain to be enforced between 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. and the limit liquor ban is still in place.

Mass gatherings such as but not limited to, movie screenings, concerts, sporting events, and other entertainment activities, religious services and work conferences, are now allowed provided that the participants are limited to 50 percent of the seating or venue capacity.

Meanwhile, the declaration of the church compound of Iglesia sa Dios Espiritu Santo at Purok 2, Lumbo, this city as critical zone and placing it under enhanced community quarantine will be effective for 14 days only or until August 3, 2020.
