Group donates face shields, face masks to frontliners

GUAGUA -- The Soroptimist International of Guagua donated dozens of face shields and facemasks to the personnel of the rural health units of Guagua in a bid to provide frontliners with adequate protection as they resume their health programs for the town.

Soroptimist International of Guagua President Divine David-Tulio personally presented the donations to Mayor Dante Torres as she renewed the commitment of the organization to support programs of the municipal government, particularly on health.

Tulio said that the donations are timely as the rural health units of the town have resumed that the oral vaccination program against polio. She added that rural health unit personnel should be properly protected as they go to different barangays of the town.

Mayor Dante Torres lauded the donation adding that the organization had been a constant supporter of many of the government’s socio-civic programs here.
