MABALACAT City has been chosen as pilot testing area by the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development and, by extension, the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board for the land use and Zoning Information System development program pursuant to President Rodrigo Duterte's policy instructions in his State of the Nation Address (Sona) delivered last July 27, 2020.
The city was chosen for the system's pilot testing based on its approved Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance and internet connectivity and Geographic Information System capabilities. Mabalacat City is the first area to be chosen in the whole province of Pampanga, thanks to the excellent work of the CPDO under Rosan S. Paquia with the whole support of Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo and the city's SP.
In a letter dated June 30, 2020 to Mayor Cris Garbo, DHSUD Region III Officer-in-charge Atty. Lyndon D. Juntilla informed the local chief executive that a Memorandum of Agreement will be sent to the latter for his perusal and approval should the idea of pilot testing of Mabalacat City for the land use and zoning information system project is acceptable to the city.
Despite the global pandemic, Mabalacat City has registered success in all its programs of progress for its constituents.
This could be mainly due to the focus and dedication of the men and women in the city government bureaucracy. It's a united and collective effort, as Rosan is wont to say.
Speaking of unity of purpose, the Fiesta Communities Tabun Mabalacat City Homeowners Association Inc. (FCTMCHAI) Board of Directors and Managing Officers have also focused their efforts toward making the Association responsive to the concerns and issues of the residents/homeowners.
First things first. The security set up has been strictly monitored mainly due to the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic. Visitors from other places were given limited access to the subdivision in order to avoid local transmission of the disease. Ditto with vehicle owners who do not have yet the FCTMCHAI stickers. They were methodically advised to secure their stickers to avoid inconvenience at the gate.
Next, the managing officers-President, Secretary and Treasurer, accompanied by Board member Emmanuel P. Limpin, worked hard to open up a new bank account. They were repeatedly told to come back and accomplish all the bank requirements. This way, all its bank transactions will be handled hassle-free.
