MAS niminos ang gasto sa Philippines Sports Commission (PSC) sa new normal diin ang mga seminar ug ubang activites ipaagi na karon sa online isip usa ka lakang aron malikayan ang pagkatap sa coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
Adunay libo-an ka mga coach ang ningsalmot sa National Sports Coaching Certification Course nga gipasiugdahan sa PSC alang sa certification sa mga coach para makapadayon og lambo ang ilang kasayuran sa sports.
Ang programa, nga giabagan sa Philippine Sports Institute’s (PSI) Sports Education and Training Program, gisugdan na niadtiong miaging semana alang sa mga coach sa Visayas.
Aduna sab lain nga eskedyul alang sa mga coach sa National Capital Region, Luzon ug Mindanao.
“Wala tayo masyadong gastos, nakatipid tayo ngayon dahil all of them nasa online ang training. What we did before the pandemic, we brought all the participants in one place,” pasabot ni PSC Commissioner Ramon Fernandez.
Dugang sa many-time Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) champion nga kinahanglan nila magbuhat og inisiyatiba nga sama niini aron molambo ang kapabilidad sa mga coach, nga maoy gitahasan sa pagtudlo sa mga atleta.
Ang National Sports Coaching Certification gibuhat na kaniadto sa wala pa ang pandemya.
“We thought of this coaching certification online, we have several programs before the pandemic in Davao and some areas in Luzon. We just have to think of ways on how to do it,” dugang sa four-time PBA Most Valuable Player.

“Hopefully, we are done with the covid already when we do our second phase of certification. We have to continue the program as we need to improve the competency and skills of the coaches,” matod niya.
