MACABEBE -- This municipality has recorded two new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19), raising its total number of confirmed cases to six.

According to the local inter-agency task force (LIATF), the new patients both contracted the disease in their workplace in Metro Manila.

LIAFTF reported that the patient developed symptoms while in Manila but was swab tested in GreenCity Medical Center in the City of San Fernando. Her results came back positive on July 31.

The second patient, codenamed MC#6, is a 37-year-old male from Barangay San Jose here and works at a telephone company in Manila.

MC#6 reportedly underwent swab testing on August 3 after experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 days before.

Both patients are on strict isolation while contact tracing is being conducted by the Municipal Health Office, LIATF said.
