Sa usa ka advisory nga giluwatan sa Biyernes sa Agusto 7, 2020, ang MCIAA niingon nga ang tanang mobiya ug moabot nga mga pasahero sa airport kinahanglan magsul-ob og face shield gawas sa face mask.
Dugang pa, tanang mga tawo, lakip na sa airport staff, meeters, ug greeters, gimandoan sa pagsul-ob ning protective gears samtang naa sa airport premises.
“We ask for the cooperation of all stakeholders in adhering to health and safety procedures of the airport. The well-being of passengers and staff remains MCIA’s topmost priority in this continuing global battle against Covid-19,” matod sa tipik sa advisory.
Samtang, ang DOTr, sa Biyernes, niingon nga di sila motugot sa paggamit sa eye protector isip alternatibo sa face shield.
Ang DOTr niamendar sa portion sa iyang memorandum circular (MC 2020-031) aron pag “delete the portion allowing eye protector” isip alternatibo sa face shield.
“Strictly require all drivers, conductors, and passengers of PUVs to wear face masks and face shields inside PUVs. Failure to wear face mask and face shield shall be a reasonable ground to refuse/deny borading in PUV,” matod sa tipik sa memorandum.
