A CONSTRUCTION worker was arrested in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Monday, August 10.
Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the suspect as Ernan Concepcion Garcia, 46, a resident of Tumaga village, Zamboanga City.
Duco said Garcia was nabbed in a buy-bust operation launched by operatives of the Zamboanga City Police Office's Station 5 around 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Lunzuran village.
Recovered from the suspect were P7,000 worth of shabu and P200 marked money.
Duco said Garcia was detained and formal charges are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
