Si Slaughter nakadesisyon nga mopahuway una pagduwa sa Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) dihang napupos ang iyang kontrata sa Gin Kings human sa miaging season ug mibalik kini sa Amerika.
Sa miaging buwan, gianunsyo ni Slaughter sa social media nga nagparehistro siya sa BeoBasket, usa ka agency nga nagrepresentar kang Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic sa National Basketball Association (NBA).
Sa interbyu sa Chasedown program, giklaro ni Cone nga wala siya’y kasayuran kon unsa’y kalambuan kabahin sa sitwasyon sa produkto sa University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers.
“We haven’t had much contact with Greg. We had some right before the pandemic started, before we started to close things down. He left for the States and I know he’s spoken to LA (Tenorio) a couple of times, he’s spoken to some of the players,” batbat ni Cone.
“But I really don’t have an update on what he’s doing and what his whereabouts are. So, in terms of Greg, we’re kinda in limbo.”

“Nobody’s talking about anything in terms of trades. Too many things up in the air, like who’s gonna pay contracts, financial matters. Things of that sort,” pagtino ni “And the other thing is, Greg would have to come in and work out a contract with the new team, even if he was traded. We don’t have any conversations, we don’t have any desire to trade Greg. We won the last championship with Greg, and you know, when he’s healthy and he’s going, he’s a dominant player in the league.”
