AT LEAST 65 enumerators in San Carlos City undergo six days training on 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH) 4th level facilitated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Province of Negros Occidental thru the City Planning and Development Coordinator’s Office at the Consuelo Alger Function Room from August 10-16, 2020.
John F. Campomanes, Statistical Specialist II and Head Census Area Coordinator of PSA-Negros Occidental said the training will capacitate the participants on how to gather data on the socio-economic and demographic characteristics of the population as well as the housing and household characteristics during the conduct of census on September.
Campomanes added that the training will last for a week so that participants will really understand the definition and concept in conducting said census in which collected data will be treated with strict confidentiality.
He also said that among the 132 enumerators, 22 supervisors will be selected and manned by five census area supervisors of PSA. Second batch of enumerators will be trained on August 17-22. (PR)
