Frontliner in Magalang town recovers from Covid-19

A FRONTLINE worker in Magalang town in Pampanga has recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19), Mayor Romulo Pecson said.

The mayor confirmed that recent swab test result of Patient M6, a resident of Barangay San Francisco and a frontline worker of the local government, showed that the patient has recovered from the disease.

"Nakapagtala tayo ng isang bagong recovery ngayong araw. Ayon kay Mayor Pecson, officially recovered na si Patient M6 matapos mag negatibo ang kanyan confirmatory swab test result," the local government stated in its Wednesday dawn bulletin, August 12.

The Municipal Government said there are nine active Covid-19 cases in the town.

Aside from this, there is a new active case in Barangay San Ildefonso, one probable case and 89 persons under monitoring, according to the local government.

It urged the residents to report to the Tanod Covid-19 text hotline if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

"Kung may nararamdamang sintomas ng Covid-19, agad itong ipagbigay alam sa ating Tanod Covid-19 text hotline para agad maaksiyunan," the Municipal Government stated.

"Kailangan po namin ang inyong kooperasyon sa ating laban kontra Covid-19," it added.
