Angeles City logs 7 Covid-19 deaths

THE Angeles City Government has recorded seven fatalities due to coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Three of the patients who died from the virus are from Barangay Pampang, two in Lourdes North West, one in Margot and one in Pulung Cacutud.

As of August 11, the City Government has recorded 117 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

Of this, 57 were locally transmitted and six were acquired outside the city, the local government stated.

There are 63 active cases and 47 patients had recovered so far.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin earlier warned disobedient residents that the City Government will arrest individuals who violate health protocols.

He urged his constituents to bring quarantine pass, wear face mask and shield when traveling or going outside the house.

Lazatin also stressed social distancing in public places.

He said that more than 200 persons were arrested for violating the Covid-19 guidelines.
