San Fernando active Covid-19 cases now at 108

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Active coronavirus cases in this capital city have now reached 108 cases after nine new cases have been recorded on August 14, 2020, according to a bulletin of the City Information Office.

Despite three recoveries in Panipuan (one), Sto. Rosario (one) and Telabastagan (one), active cases remain high in the city, which has the most number of active cases in the district and among cities in the province.

The total confirmed cases for the city are now at 181 cases, with 72 recoveries and one death. The city’s positivity rate remains at 8 percent.

The nine new active cases are from Dela Paz Sur (one), Dolores (two), Maimpis (one), San Agustin (one), San Isidro (one), San Jose (one), Sta. Lucia (one) and Sindalan (one).

Some 27 of the 35 barangays of the city now have active cases. Most of the active cases are from San Nicolas (18), Del Pilar (10), Del Carmen (eight), Sindalan (eight), and Telabastagan (eight).
