Eden for the long weekends

TOURISM-RELATED activities may look a little different given today’s pandemic situation but nothing can stop our love for good food and awesome staycation!

Eden Nature Park and Resort reopens its doors to the public with a commitment to provide guests with a safe and relaxing stay by strictly observing all necessary health safety protocols set by the government.

Dining for the long weekends

Opening for this month’s long weekends (August 21 to 23 and 29 to 31), the resort promises a worry-free, safe and whole new dining experience in its spacious, open-air Vista Restaurant.

“We are excited to offer something special, tailored towards the new normal set up,” Brenda Ocampo, Eden’s Sales and marketing director said.

Eden, she said, has prepared an “Order-All-You-Can” lunch feast – inclusive of an array of appetizers, soup, salads, main entrées and desserts.

Dining here is also made more special with the captivating view of the Davao Gulf and fresh breeze.

The dine-in services are also open for the resort’s Fishing Village these long weekends.

Safer dining and staycation

Ocampo emphasized that the resort is one with the government’s fight against the coronavirus disease.

“Vista restaurant has put in place stringent health measures under the 'new normal' setting, such as one-way entry and exit policy to reduce risks. It has also adapted innovation and digital transformation in our daily operations,” she said.

Upon entry, guests are required to wear a face mask and a mandatory body temperature check is implemented. Guests are also required to fill out a health declaration form for contact tracing purposes. Sanitizer dispenser stations, disinfectant foot mats, signage around the restaurant to guide guests with dining safety measures are also readily available.

Guests arriving at the resort’s restaurants can expect a spacious set-up with fewer tables and seats positioned at least two meters apart to observe proper physical distancing. Chairs per table, which will be sanitized every after use of each guest, are also set in the opposite direction with safety markers.

The resort has also made sure that all its personnel is equipped with proper protective gear while serving. Of course, high-standard kitchen hygiene practices and sanitation are always practiced.

To manage the resort’s foot traffic, reservations are required. Guests are also highly encouraged to settle their bills using cashless payment methods.

“Ultimately, the resort’s goal is to ensure that everyone will have peace of mind as they dine and stay in Eden,” Ocampo said.

Overnight accommodation is also open at 40 percent off.
