NPC to resume operation on August 24

THE Negros Press Club will resume operations on August 24 after the scheduled disinfection this week to ensure the safety and protection of its members and visitors.

In an advisory sent to all members, NPC emphasized that "once operation resumes, the club will limit the number of visitors and will only allow those with official transactions."

The lockdown of the NPC office was made after one of its members tested positive for the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Meanwhile, the Hall of Justice in Bacolod City was also locked down for disinfection effective 5 p.m. Monday, an advisory from the Office of the Executive Judge said.

Designated personnel will ensure the safekeeping of documents and equipment, Executive Judge Francisco Pando said.

Reports have it that three court employees have been ordered to undergo RT- PCR tests.
