SM Olongapo malls distribute relief packs to transport groups

CLARK FREEPORT -- The SM Foundation, through SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown, recently distributed a total of 600 Kalinga relief packs to various transport groups in Olongapo City.

Each Kalinga pack contains five kilos of rice and food essentials.

Beneficiaries include Megateam Taxi transport group, OSCSMTSMPC jeepney organization, NFC Transport group, Tricycle Organization Zone 2 TODA, Yellow jeep, and Zamodca UV Express.

The distribution is ongoing in other SM malls across the country due to route disruptions caused by Covid-19.

The effort forms part of Operation Tulong Express (Opte), a social good program of SM Foundation in collaboration with SM Supermalls and SM Markets to address the needs of communities during calamities and crisis.
