Pangan: A visitors' registry

AT THE fiesta communities Tabun Mabalacat City Homeowners Association Inc.(FCTMCHAI), a visitors' registry is required to be filled out by visitors entering the subdivision.

A brainchild of BOD Auditor Rodolfo D. Monis, Jr., the registry aims to monitor the movement of outsiders coming to Fiesta and avoid, if possible, the local transmission of the Covid-19 disease.

The logbook requires visitors to indicate personal data such as age, address, contact number and the name of the homeowner to be visited.

The visit will allow the visitor a maximum of three hours, no more, no less.

Elsewhere, lockdowns are prevalent in areas affected by the pandemic. Only this time, the street with Covid-19 active cases will be locked down and not the entire place or region.

Initially, BOD Angelina A. Rodriguez was assigned to monitor the Association's registry book.

The Board of Directors and Managing Officers mourn the passing of BOD Ronald P. Ilustre on August 22, 2020, due to a lingering illness. Now, HOA has to find a replacement for BOD Ilustre.

Meanwhile, HOA President Alfredo Ramos and BODs Emmanuel Limpin and Francisco D. Romero had to undergo self-quarantine after their trip to Quezon City to attend a hearing at the National Water Resources Board in Diliman, Quezon City. A petition to increase water rates at Fiesta Communities was filed by Villages Water Supply Services with the NWRB. It is also being heard at the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Mabalacat City. Some 600 homeowners signed a counter-petition to oppose the water firm's request for an increase in water rates.

By the way, there has been a change in the office staff of HOA: from Brianne to Angela who comes from the nearby Xevera Subdivision. Angela appears to be hardworking and reliable as far as clerical work is concerned.
