Kaole agrees to play for Maharlika FC

MAHARLIKA FC brings in its third foreign player with the acquisition of Cameroonian defender Serge Kaole for its debut season in the Philippines Football League (PFL).

The 30-year-old Kaole is very familiar with Philippine football after playing club football in the country since 2015. He played for Stallion FC, Global FC and Kaya FC-Iloilo.

He played in the now-defunct United Football League, the RHB Singapore Cup and the Asian Football Confederation Champions League qualifiers.

The other two foreign players for Maharlika FC are Spanish defender Joaqin Cañas and Brazilian forward Daniel Matsunaga.

The club also has former Azkal players Anton del Rosario, Simon Greatwich, Misagh Bahadoran, Jerry Barbaso and David Basa.

Maharlika FC recently got a provisional license by the Philippines Football Federation for the upcoming PFL season.

Maharlika FC will be up against four other clubs—defending PFL titleholder United City FC, Kaya FC-Iloilo, Stallion Laguna FC and Mendiola FC 1991./ EKA
