RCBSC teamwork @ 23

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.” -- Michael Jordan

BEING in the Rotary can be likened to basketball game. You have to focus and you have to plan for you to reach your goals. As we go on with our upcoming activities, I am most certain that all will be smooth, inspiring and successful, for I know that that the 39 strong men who comprise the Rotary Club of Baguio Summer Capital (RCBSC) team will always be together in this journey. I would also want to congratulate the RCBSC Board of Directors and Officers for RY 2020-2021 and challenge them to open all the doors to possible opportunities, to serve the community.

With this, I would like to thank RI District 3790 Governor Jess Sama, Past District Governor Rolando Villanueva, Assistant Governor Larry Apostol and District Executive Secretary PP Eric Rodriguez; members of the RCBSC headed by Charter President Virgilio Bautista and Ann Lilia; my mentors the RCBSC Roster of Past Presidents; the RCBSC current Board of Directors and Club Officers; and our young ones, the RCBSC Rotaract, Interact and Satellite Clubs.

Special thanks to our sister and partner club representatives among them present were RC Bacolor (Jerry Tullao, Percival Panopio), the Benguet Dental Chapter (Drs. Cherry Dulnuan and Juliet Piluden), the University of the Philippines Alumni Association Baguio-Northern Luzon Chapter and the Department of Labor and Employment (Rtn. Patrick Rillorta); to all the Rotary Clubs of District 3790 headed by their respective Presidents and Secretaries, who have committed themselves in unison for the humanitarian causes of the Rotary International.

This is Tolitz Villanueva, the RCBSC President of RY 2020-2021, CBV for charity, brotherhood and valor. Together we can do this! God is good! Photos from the RCBSC 23rd Induction Ceremonies held last September 8 at the University of Baguio Centennial Hall. Photos by Osharé.
