7 nabbed in anti-drug operations

SEVEN people were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Zamboanga City and the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Police Brigadier General Jesus Cambay Jr., Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspects as follows: Parla Lao Sali, 30; Saide Aliño Akinuddin, 37; Alfadzri Ladjahali Abdurham, 39; Seikoul Isirail Jakiran, 23; Rasdi Naral Sabturani, 39; Darwin Linhua Reyes, 40; and, Al-Rashiden Awis Main.

Cambay said that Sali was arrested in possession of some P4,000 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money in a buy-bust operation around 3:30 a.m. Saturday Purok 3 in Sta Catalina village, this city.

He said recovered from Akinuddin were some P3,000 worth of suspected shabu and P500 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust operation around 5:45 p.m. Saturday in Ramon Magsaysay village, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte.

Cambay said seized from Abdurham and Jakiran were some P5,000 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust operation around 5:15 p.m. Saturday at Phase 2, Valle Vista in Kasanyangan village, this city.

He said that Sabturani yielded some P7,000 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust operation around 8 p.m. Saturday in Canelar village, this city.

Cambay said that Reyes was in possession of some P2,000 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust operation around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in San Jose Cawa Cawa village, this city.

He said that Main was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Poblacion village, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.

Cambay said recovered from the possession of Main were some P500 worth of suspects shabu and P500 marked money.

He said that charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects, who were detained. (SunStar Zamboanga)
