Mapúa offers fully online bachelor’s degree programs in engineering, information technology

THE Mapúa University now offers fully online bachelor’s degree programs for anyone in Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.

Beginning this year, students can enroll in Mapúa's fully online undergraduate programs in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science and Information Techology, which are all part of the Mapúa Digital Academics.

Through Mapúa University’s fully online bachelor’s degree programs, Filipinos from all walks of life can attain their educational aspirations, as they will be able to take classes anytime and anywhere, accomplish academic requirements at their own pace, as well as balance their time between work, daily life and learning, among others.

“The implementation of fully online undergraduate degree programs is part of Mapúa’s commitment to offer global standards of learning and develop and bolster its world-class quality of education, reaching more learners locally and across the globe through its online learning space,” said Mapúa University president and chief executive officer Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea.

Since these programs are not limited to those living in Metro Manila and in the country, foreigners who also want to pursue their education in the Philippines are welcome to enroll in the fully online bachelor’s degree programs of Mapúa.

As the Philippines’ leading school for engineering and information technology education, Mapúa guarantees its fully online programs to be of the same quality as its regular bachelor’s degree programs, with the fully online programs being approved by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Furthermore, the university will employ life coaches under the fully online programs to better help learners as they take their classes remotely. The life coaches will be helping all enrollees graduate from the program as they serve as advisers from beginning to end.

“The programs follow the global standards of learning and observe the outcomes-based education system, a learner-centric approach that validates students’ knowledge and institution-wide teaching procedures through measurable academic outcomes,” said Mapúa University’s executive vice president for academic affairs Dr. Bonifacio T. Doma Jr.
