Eugenio: Bad Feng Shui: Lonely Mountain Formation

Eugenio: Bad Feng Shui: Lonely Mountain Formation

SAD, frustrated and disappointed: These were the emotions of my client. But I needed to stand my ground and be honest. No matter how much I knew my client wanted to buy the property for a dream home, I needed to deliver the bad news. However, I believe it was the “best bad news.”

According to my Feng Shui SOP (standard operating procedure), I had done several site visits, gone around the vicinity, checked land elevation, identified huge negative structures and water exit points. After the thorough site analysis together with my daughter and business partner, architect Judith Marie Eugenio, what really, really struck me the most was that the property had zero support from all directions.

In Feng Shui, this is what we call the “Lonely Mountain Formation.” It is like a single house on top of a hill. This landform is one of the Feng Shui formations that is dreaded and, at all costs, must be avoided.

Some of the possible effects of having this negative land formation are infidelity, lawsuits, accidents, bankruptcy, low chance of getting pregnant, poor academics or mental health issues like depression.

All my client wanted was a home that is nurturing, stable, loving and harmonious, but thank you for putting your family first by receiving my advice. I couldn’t think of a greater reason why we should take action, but simply because we love our family.
