Covid-19 cases in Apalit breach 100-mark

THE number of confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Apalit town, Pampanga has breached the 100-mark.

As of the weekend, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases has reached 103, in which 25 remain active, 76 have recovered and two have died.

Barangay San Vicente, which is the center of trade of this town, registered the highest number of cases at 25, of which 11 are active.

In Barangay Capalangan where the first local transmission was recorded, five out of the 20 confirmed Covid-19 cases are still active.

Barangay Sampaloc also registered 16 cases but is Covid-19 free as of Sunday, and Sulipan village with 14 cases with two actives.

Barangay Tabuyuc also has seven; Sucad with six; San Juan, Paligui and Balucuc with four each, Colgante with two; and Cansinala with one; while Calantipe remains Covid-19 free.

The total lockdown in Barangay San Vicente was also still effective as of Sunday as the number of Covid-19 cases continues to grow.
