THE total number of coronavirus infections in Central Luzon has reached 11,583 as of September 26, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.
Of the 11,583 patients, 1,354 are still admitted, 3,704 have been discharged to undergo home quarantine and 6,242 have recovered.
The health department said 283 people have died from the virus in the whole region.
Bulacan has the highest number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Central Luzon with 5,237, making up for 50 percent of all confirmed cases in the region. Bulacan deaths from Covid has pegged 140 cases.
Bataan recorded 2,100 positive Covid-19 cases, 988 recoveries and 30 deaths. Pampanga has 2,314 positive cases, 52 deaths, and 575 recoveries.
Nueva Ecija has 582 positive cases and 25 deaths. Tarlac has 422 Covid cases and 17 deaths. In Zambales, 842 Covid cases have been recorded with 19 recorded deaths.
