Police host series of activities for Magalang folk

POLICE personnel under the Pampanga 2nd Police Mobile Force Company (PMFC) led by Commander John Clark hosted a series of activities for Barangay San Isidro Resettlement in Magalang in a bid to establish and create renewed cooperation with the Philippine National Police (PNP) amid the ongoing pandemic.

In line with the PNP Patrol Plan 2030, 2nd PMFC personnel, together with personnel of Magalang, Bureau of Fire Protection-Magalang, Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) members, Bantay Bayan and Kapitan Rodolfo "Boboy" Banal, conducted the simultaneous Expanded Caravan, Global Police Community Relations, Kaligkasan, KKDAT, Patrulya ng Bayan and End Local Communist Armed Conflict activities at Pampanga.

A total of 200 participants availed themselves of these activities.

Clark said they also provided other social services closer to the community to provide easy access to the one-stop services, such as Libreng Gupit, Global Police Community Desk (OFW Desk), Free Blood Pressure, License to Own and Possess Firearm registration and renewal and issuance Police Clearances.

Likewise, the team distributed free seedlings in line with its Kaligkasan Program, assorted relief goods, face masks, and face shields.

All attendees were encouraged to wear a face mask, observe social and physical distancing and follow the general curfew hours set by the National Government purposely to avoid and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
