Dear Pepe n Pilar,

I know how expensive it could be to make your teeth whiter. But, the good news is there are natural teeth whitener you can make at home - that could very well fit your budget.

1. Turmeric

It has a lot of dental benefits -- along its teeth whitening effect. It is also good for sensitive teeth and dental problems like toothaches and gingivitis.

2. Baking soda

This works as a mild abrasive to remove those teeth stains. It also facilitates plaque removal by neutralizing the acids produced by bacteria. Take note that when plaque builds up in your teeth, this can cause tooth decay and gum disease.

3. Coconut oil

Swish a tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth on an empty stomach for around 20 minutes. This draws out bacteria and treats toothaches, bad breath, tooth sensitivity and gum disease. This can also help whiten and brighten your teeth.

Now, let's get the following materials: Turmeric powder, Baking soda, Coconut oil, bowl, mixing spoon, Measuring spoons, jar or container for storing the recipe.

Now, here are the steps that you need to do!

1. Get four tablespoons of dried, turmeric root powder and put them in a bowl.

2. Add two teaspoons of baking soda.

3. Add 21/2 to 3 tablespoons of organic, virgin coconut oil.

4. Mix all the ingredients well with a spoon.

Your homemade natural teeth whitener is now ready.

But, as we are running out of space now, then, let me continue this in my

next issue.
