MyBus implements cashless payment

STARTING Oct. 1, 2020, MyBus will be implementing a cashless and one-card-per-passenger payment mode through the MyBus card.

This is in compliance with the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease on social distancing and contactless transactions for public transport.

In an advisory on Sept. 30, MyBus said it will apply with the following schedules: Oct. 1 for Route 1 from Parkmall/SM City Cebu to SM Seaside and vice versa; and Oct. 19 for Route 2A from Talisay to SM Seaside and vice versa via South Road Properties (SRP) and Route 2B from Talisay to SM Seaside and vice versa via N. Bacalso Ave.

The schedule on Oct. 26 is for Route 3A from Talisay to Parkmall/SM City Cebu and vice versa via SRP and for Route 3B from Talisay to Parkmall/SM City Cebu and vice versa via Imus Road, while Nov. 4 is for Route 4 from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) to Parkmall/SM City Cebu and vice versa.

The MyBus Card is available for P120 (with P50 load) at the following MyBus stations: SM City Cebu (North Wing Open Parking 2), SM Seaside City (Mountain Wing Entrance), Talisay City (MyBus Depot) and MCIA (Terminals 1 and 2). (WBS)
