TO SUPPORT the reopening of domestic and international tourism, the country’s airline carriers will mount flights in various destinations in the country and abroad that are open for leisure travel.
In an advisory on Thursday, Oct. 1, Cebu Pacific said they plan to increase the destinations they will fly to in the country to stimulate economic activities in the various regions.
“Cebu Pacific and Cebgo intend to operate the following domestic and international flights. This month, to further support the Philippine tourism industry and economy, we look forward to adding Boracay, Bohol, Kalibo, Dipolog, Tuguegarao, Bacolod and Roxas to the network,” the low-cost airline carrier said.
Cebu Pacific added that they also intend to operate limited international routes, namely Manila-Dubai-Manila, Manila-Osaka-Manila, Manila-Tokyo-Manila, Manila-Nagoya-Manila, and Manila-Singapore-Manila, as well as Manila-Seoul (Incheon) and Manila-Hong Kong.
It also assured to continue to mount all-cargo flights to ensure seamless transport of essential goods across the country and assist stranded guests as they continue to work with national and local governments.
On the other hand, Philippine Airlines (PAL) said they are mounting flights from Manila to London, Vancouver, Toronto, Honolulu, Guam, Sydney, Singapore among many other routes. For the domestic routes, PAL has mounted flights to Dumaguete, Aklan, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Dipolog among others.
The airline carrier continued to remind passengers of evolving travel restrictions and local government requirements.
“We may have to cancel flights, add frequencies or adjust our planned schedules, based on evolving quarantine restrictions and entry requirements set by the Philippine authorities and local government units,” PAL said. (JOB)
