Another “bisaya” is set to share encouraging words of wisdom as Magnolia Hotshots guard Jio Jalalon graces the fourth episode of the MVP Sports Foundation Youth Basketball League’s (MYBL) Idol Talk on Saturday, October 3, 2020.

Idol Talk will stream live via the MYBL-Cebu Facebook page at 4:30 p.m.

A 5-foot-9 point guard, Jalalon has risen from being a relative unknown basketball prospect from Cagayan de Oro to one of the Philippine Basketball Association’s (PBA) most exciting guards. After a stellar career with Arellano University in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), he was picked by the Magnolia franchise in the 2016 PBA Draft.

Since then, the man known as the “Cyclone” has steadily improved his game and posted career-high averages of 10.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.9 steals during the 2018-2019 PBA season.

He has also represented the country, suiting up for Gilas Pilipinas in the SEABA Championship 2017. (JNP)
