THE Iloilo City Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) is now accepting applications online.

This is in response to the City Government's stride toward defeating Covid-19 and in compliance with physical distancing per Section 8 (D) of Executive Order 153, Series of 2020, said BPLO head Norman Tabud.

Applicants may submit documents via e-mail bplo.iloilocity@gmail.com or Facebook page www.facebook.com/businesspermitiloilocity.

Requirements are Unified Application Form (UAF) or Declaration of Capital, Barangay Clearance for Business, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)/ Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Registration, Lease of Contract (if leased) and Occupancy Permit (if required).

UAF may be secured from City Hall website www.iloilocity.gov.ph by looking under the menu "Downloads" then click "Application Forms and Documents" and choose "Business Permit."

Scanned copy, pdf, image, Microsoft Word or Excel files of filled out application form and other requirements may be emailed or sent through Facebook Messenger.

BPLO also set up a mobile 0963-985-6359 "Hotline at Your Service" for those seeking guidance and with queries and an officer-in-charge will accommodate questions and provide assistance.

The quick response system aims to immediately address client's concerns in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic and lessen face to face transactions. (PR)
