THE country’s pre-eminent basketball star, Cebuano June Mar Fajardo, will be sharing his basketball journey with young aspiring basketball stars when he appears on the MVP Sports Foundation Youth Basketball League’s Idol Talk on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
The show will air live over the MVPSF Youth League – Cebu Facebook page at 4:30 p.m.
The Pinamungajan-native has been on the mend after suffering a leg injury earlier this year. He will not be taking part in the restart of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) that kicks off this Sunday, October 11, in Pampanga.
A product of the University of Cebu, the 6-foot-10 gentle giant is widely recognized as the best player in the country today, having won a record six PBA Most Valuable Player awards. Fajardo is also one of the most well-liked players in the league today, owing both to his genuine humility and commitment to his family.
Idol Talk will be hosted by PBA anchor Magoo Marjon, courtside reporter Carla Lizardo and MYBL-Cebu commissioner and organizer, Enrico Navarro. (JNP)
