GIDAYEG ni Mayor Edgardo Labella ang liderato sa Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) human sa sunodsunod nga nakasakmit og shabu nga nagkantidad tanan og dul-an P100 milyones sulod lang sa 30 ka adlaw.
Saludo usab si Labella sa gipakitang abilidad ni CCPO chief Police Colonel Josefino Ligan sanglit sa duha ka operasyon niadtong Septiyembre 6 ug Oktubre 5, 2020 nga walay kinabuhin nakalas ug silang tanan gitaral sa hukmanan.
“I’m glad that our police officials in the City of Cebu have not also neglected in fighting against other form of criminality especially the fight against illegal drugs,” matod ni Labella.
“I commend them because in their fight against illegal drugs, you would not hear that our police authority employed the so-called extra judicial killings (EJK),” dugang sa mayor.
Sa duha ka operasyon sa CCPO, ilawom sa pagpangulo ni Police Major Randy Caballes sa City Intelligence Branch, nasakmit niadtong Septiyembre 6 ang walo ka kilong shabu ug laing unom ka kilo ang nasakit sa Police Stations 7 ug 8 didto sa Barangay Inayawan nga walay kinabuhi nga nakalas sa mga durogista.
“I commend Colonel Ligan for observing the protocol in the arrest of criminals. No extra judicial killings. He brought them before the bar of justice in accordance with the existing laws and have them prosecuted,” matod sa mayor.
Ang mayor dili gusto nga adunay EJK nga mahitabo sa Cebu City sa mga operasyon sa pulis gawas lang kon namiligro na ang ilang kinabuhi. (PAC)
