DYHP’s star radio drama talent will perform a sultry love poem to portray the textures and charm of Cebu heritage in a virtual tour of Central Visayas museums.
On October 17, 2020, at 3PM, DYHP’s Ingrid Vertudazo will lead the virtual tour of Palm Grass The Cebu Heritage Hotel's Galeria Independencia with her performance of a video poem, "Ayawg kalain kon sultihan tika". The poem is written by heritage advocate and heritage song lyricist, A. Guivelondo.
Vertudazo is the voice behind DYHP's popular radio dramas, "Handumanan sa usa ka awit" and "What's the style". She is also the director of “Kini ang akong suliran”.
The video of the poem is created by Hong Kong-based Social Communications Asia.
This event is part of a series of Saturday online activities of the Central Visayas Association of Museums (CVAM) to celebrate the National Museums and Galleries Month. Other museums that will give a virtual tour on October 17 are the Bantayan Parish Museum, Boljoon Parish Museum, Argao Parish Museum, and Dalaguete Parish Museum.

October 24, 2020: Museo Parian sa Sugbo, Talisay City Museum, Carmen Copper Heritage Center, Fort San Pedro, Silliman University Museum – Dalaguete;

Established in 2015, the CVAM has 13 active members. Formerly known as the Visayas Association of Museums and Galleries, Inc., it aims to capacitate and promote museums in Region 7.
Palm Grass, The Cebu Heritage Hotel's Galeria Independencia highlights the culture, heroes, and the journey of the Cebuanos through the precolonial, Spanish, and revolutionary periods. The historical gallery hopes that the valiant feats of Cebu heroes inspire present and future generations in building a better society for everyone. (PR)
