I JUST discovered another indoor plant that I can suggest to the plantitas and plantitos out there. According to the gardener I bought it from, it is an easy to care plant that can also live on low light. So this plant can do well even on cities with winter.

Philodendron Jungle Boogie or Tiger Tooth Philodendron has long, narrow leaves with distinctive, deep serration all along the edges. The leaves often reach 2-3' in length. It makes an attractive, easy-to-grow plant for low light areas of the home that need some interest, and it adds exotic appeal in the living room or even in the bedroom. This plant can transport you to your nature or jungle dreams especially since travel is still not essential in these times. It can take low humidity in the air, low soil moisture, as well as low light.

Philodendron Jungle Boogie Plants thrive in the low light conditions indoors, living with just fluorescent light which makes them perfect for office buildings and apartments. They can handle some bright, indirect light too, but too much light will cause browning. Don't you love the name of jungle boogie? I am so drawn into this plant with its thick foliage and jagged edges.

Philodendron Jungle Boogie Plants do like to dry out between watering. It does not like to stay wet or sit in water. Plants that are watered too often will not survive. If unsure, do not water. Philodendrons can go weeks before being watered again. The drier it is, it seems to be healthier. For indoor plants, overwatering is what kills most of them so stick to a routine and only water when dry especially with this jungle boogie.

Philodendron Jungle Boogie Plants prefer a very well draining soil, and prefer to have dry conditions. Regular potting mix with sand mixed in works well for plants potted in containers, otherwise a cactus potting mix would work. The cactus potting mix already has sand and other ingredients to encourage drainage.

I have seen people selling this plant in marketplace, so I hope you are able to get one for yourself as well. If you like tropical vibes, this is the plant to have!
