CORONAVIRUS cases in Pampanga continue to rise as confirmed cases have reached 3,271, according to an October 15 update from the Department of Health (DOH).
The DOH said total recoveries in Pampanga are now at 2,033 with 739 discharged to undergo 14-day community quarantine. Some 396 are still admitted to different hospital facilities.
Angeles City still has the most number of cases at 902 confirmed cases with 184 active cases, as of October 16. In the City of San Fernando, 530 confirmed cases have been recorded as of October 16, with 77 active.
Mabalacat City has 436 confirmed cases, making it the third local government unit with the most number of cases in Pampanga.
Guagua has remained the town with the most number of cases with 249 confirmed cases in Pampanga, followed by Porac and Mexico with 148 cases each.
Apalit town has the most number of confirmed cases in the Pampanga 4th district with 129 cases.
Guagua has the most number of coronavirus-related deaths among the towns of the province with 16 recorded cases. This is eclipsed by the City of San Fernando with 19 recorded deaths, as of Saturday afternoon. Lubao follows in a close third with 10 reported cases.
The province now has a total of 103 deaths from the coronavirus.
