Limlingan: Easing it out

AS WE are somewhat adapted now to the new normal, the government is easing out various restrictions it imposed for the past months in response to the fight against the spread of the virus.

The Inter-Agency Task Force' (IATF) issuance has eased out its ban for some age brackets in going out of their homes. As per IATF Resolution No. 79, those aged 15 to 65 are now allowed to go out amid quarantine restrictions.

Previously, those under 21 and over 60 were not allowed to go outside their residences except for work reasons or only when buying necessities. This is to safeguard their health and prevent them from getting infected with the virus or infecting others should they get infected themselves.

The easing out of quarantine restrictions with the strict observance of health protocols would somehow help roll the economy, especially those with work or small business to tend to. As long as we religiously practice what needs to be practiced to avoid getting infected, there is the lesser risk for the virus spread.

For several months now, there is economic inactivity and while there are some who never cease from their work, a lot have been stalled with their livelihood. The economy in the country as well as other countries too, has been paralyzed.

With the easing out of age restrictions, out economy would somehow be little by little revived. In addition, those who are bored to death by the pandemic, would now be refreshed as they can now go out of their homes.
