THE total number of people who have recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro has reached 847, after the repeat swab tests of 19 patients yielded negative results on Monday, October 19.
Of the 19 recoveries, 14 are local cases and five are local Authorized Persons Outside Residence (Apors).
Those who have recovered are:
* A 28-year-old female local Apor, a healthcare worker, residing in Barangay Tablon;
* A 67-year-old male resident of Barangay Bulua;
* A 24-year-old male local Apor residing in Barangay Iponan;
* A 58-year-old male resident of Barangay Kauswagan;
* A 28-year-old female local Apor residing in Barangay Indahag;
* A 27-year-old male local Apor residing in Barangay Indahag;
* A 45-year-old female resident of Barangay Gusa;
* A 38-year-old male resident of Barangay Patag;
* A 38-year-old female resident of Barangay Puerto;
* A 21-year-old male resident of Barangay Carmen;
* A 52-year-old male resident of Barangay Carmen;
* A 38-year-old female resident of Barangay Bugo;
* A 27-year-old female resident of Barangay Cugman;
* A 39-year-old female resident of Barangay Balulang;
* A 56-year-old male resident of Barangay Gusa;
* A 24-year-old male resident of Barangay Balulang;
* A 29-year-old female resident of Barangay San Simon;
* A 16-year-old female resident of Barangay Tablon; and
* A 47-year-old female local Apor residing in Barangay 18.
According to Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery, of the 847 recoveries recorded in Cagayan de Oro, 246 are locally stranded individuals (LSIs), 93 are returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs), and 508 are local cases (community: 374; Apor: 134).
As of October 19, Cagayan de Oro registered a total of 1,278 confirmed Covid-19 cases.
Of the number, 347 are ROFs/LSIs, and 931 are local cases.
The city has 374 active cases, 30 of whom are admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, 337 are outpatients, seven are ROFs/LSIs.
The number of Covid-19 deaths is at 57.
