THE secret to a delish salad is its DRESSING. Without it, your salad is just one bowl of sad vegetables put together without a kick.

So, if you're that do-it-yourself (DIY) salad person, then, this article is for you.

Known for its guilt-free wraps, Wrap Eat Out now offers homemade salad dressings made from locally produced herbs.

Kathrina Miranda and Wilfred Capili, owners of Wrap Eat Out, offered the salad dressings due to insistent demand from their customers.

Their salad dressing collection includes Wrap Eat Out’s House Dressing, Japanese Mayo, Garlic Aioli and Lime Crema.

Their tasty salad dressings are packed with herbs and spices that will surely liven up your favorite combination of vegetables, protein and crunch.

Aside from the homemade salad dressings, Wrap Eat Out recently launched its bottled tsokolateng batirol (cold batirol).

“We take pride in our batirol because it is authentic. Many of our customers tell us that our batirol reminds them of Christmas and brings back memories from their childhood days,” Miranda shared.

Aside from the ready-to-drink bottled batirol, customers can also buy batirol base from Wrap Eat Out for DIY-feels.

Miranda and Capili have put their new products in bottles that can be easily recycled and reused.

You can even order a box of these bottled goodies that comes with strings and plantable tags!

“As much as possible, we want to use eco-friendly materials, while at the same time, encourage our customers to grow their own plants, too,” Miranda shared.

Humble beginnings

Miranda and Capili established Wrap Eat Out in 2016 when they were thinking of a good food business to put up in a food park.

Since Miranda is fond of trying and exploring different cuisines, while Capili is a health-conscious person, they decided to combine their food choices, bringing to life a new food concept - Wrap Eat Out.

Wrap Eat Out is a combination of three words, "WRAP," which is the product itself, and "EAT OUT," which means to go food or take out food.

“The idea is for customers to have a healthier and fun choice for comfort food and fast food,” Miranda said.

Wrap Eat Out’s first stores were put up in two food parks in Angeles City. The food menu paid homage to the different flavors enjoyed by the couple during their travels from different places.

Authentic flavors inspired by local and international recipes offered in wraps became the signature food product of Wrap Eat Out.

“Our initial products were food wraps inspired by food from different countries. Our customers were amazed because our products were unique and cannot be found anywhere else,” Miranda shared.

Today, Wrap Eat Out continues to offer their signature wraps - Lechon Kawali Wrap, California Maki Wrap, Falafel Wrap, Mediterranean Wrap, Bibimbap Wrap and Burger Wrap. They also have salads, chicken wings and rice meals on their menu. Plus, nachos with chips made by Miranda and Capili themselves.

All these food selections can be ordered in customizable boxes.

“We can assure our customers that we only use fresh ingredients. We even plant some of our vegetables and are organic,” Miranda assured.

She added that their other ingredients are locally sourced and that food is only cooked when ordered.

This November, Wrap Eat Out is set to something new to its menu just in time for the Christmas Season.
