THE Cebu Police Provincial Office wanted a further investigation of the case involving the death of a policeman and his lover in Talisay City on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Cebu Provincial Police Office Director Alladin Collado ordered the Talisay Police Station to continue its investigation on the death of Police Lieutenant Fraxilo Albiso, Bulacao (Talisay City) Police Community Station commander, and his lover, Vernis Cardino.
Both Albiso and Cardino died from the incident. Collado said that even with the death of the two, a lot of questions from the relatives are unanswered.
Collado said the further investigation will try to answer the questions by the relatives of both Albiso and Cardino.
An initial investigation from the personnel of Bulacao Community Precinct showed that there was no sign of any argument between the two before they heard gunshots.
Collado said the Cebu Provincial Police Office will strengthen its mental intervention program after the death of Albiso.
Meanwhile, PRO 7 Director, Police Brigadier General Albert Ignatius Ferro said the PNP internal cleansing program is a continuing program that prohibits immoral activities of the men and women of the police force.
“Immoral activities should be prohibited and we should observe what is proper and the crime of passion is brought about by the immoral activities of our member, so we should follow what is the proper de quorum of a law enforcer,” Ferro said. (AYB/MMC)
