Teacher nabbed in Himamaylan drug bust

A PUBLIC school teacher was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Purok Masinadyahon, Barangay Caradio-an, Himamaylan City on October 21, 2020.

The suspect was identified as Stephen Tibgson, 40, a public school teacher at Kabankalan City National High School and a resident of Adela Street, Barangay 2, Kabankalan City.

Based on the report of Himamaylan City Police Station, they conducted the buy-bust operation against the subject.

Actual selling happened after a poseur reportedly bought P500 worth of shabu from the suspect.

Recovered from the possession of the suspect was 5.6 grams of shabu with market value worth P95,000.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Himamaylan Police Station and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
