Cervantes: Blessed Mother: 'You will yet have long years of hard trials'

UNLESS another development more shocking erupts, I contend that the prophecy of mystic Fr. Michel Rodrigue about something within this month of the Holy Rosary that would kick off the days of tribulation was Pope Francis’ endorsement of same-sex civil unions. Remember that Fr. Rodrigue and other mystics have been saying that the days of tribulations are to cover not only disasters, but also schism, if not apostasy, in the Church.

Indeed, the Pope’s statement has led Roman Silantyev, the head of human rights at the Orthodox Church’s World Russian People’s Council, to call Pope Francis’ statement “a strong step toward degradation,” adding that “people will run to the Orthodox and Protestants after that.”

“This might cause some kind of split since many Catholics are quite conservative,” he also said.

Only last October 22, Our Lady Queen of Peace seemed to have referred to this development when he told Pedro Regis as follows:

“Dear children, love and defend the truth. You are living in a time of great spiritual confusion. Be attentive, for you will yet have long years of hard trials. Your weapon of defense is in the Gospel and in the teachings of the true Magisterium of the Church of My Jesus. Do not be afraid. Remain faithful to my Jesus. Accept my Appeals and testify with your own lives that you are of the Lord. Great Babel will spread everywhere and many will turn away from the true faith. Take care of your spiritual life. Devote part of your time to prayer and listening to the Word of God. Do not forget: your victory is in the Eucharist. Onward in the defense of the truth. This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.

Regardless of whether the era of prophesied tribulation is now with us, Heaven has continued to give us counsel.

On March 19, 2020, Garabandal, Spain visionary Conchita was asked if she could offer some words of advice amid the hard times the world and the Church are going through. She answered:

“God is separating us from the values of this world. In the silence of the Church or in our home, we can now do an examination of conscience so that we can purify whatever prevents us from hearing the Voice of God clearly. We can honestly ask God to tell us what He wants from us today and continue to do so every day. And spend as much time as possible with God in church or somewhere in your home or where you find silence. He is all we need."

Now I share more dated messages of Jesus to Servant of God Luisa Picarreta, a contemporary whom St. Padre Pio had extolled.

November 20, 1917:

“My daughter, I am not concerned about the cities, the great things of the earth—I am concerned about souls. The cities, the churches and other things, after they have been destroyed, can be rebuilt. Didn’t I destroy everything in the Deluge? And wasn’t everything redone again? But if souls are lost, it is forever—there is no one who can give them back to Me.”

August 30, 1928:

“With the Kingdom of my Will everything will be renewed in Creation; things will return to their original state. This is why many scourges are necessary, and will take place—so that Divine Justice may place Itself in balance with all of my attributes, in such a way that, by balancing Itself, It may leave the Kingdom of my Will in Its peace and happiness. Therefore, do not be surprised if such a great good, which I am preparing and which I want to give, is preceded by many scourges.”

October 30, 1932

“...since this way of living [in God’s Will] was to be of all creatures—this was the purpose of Our Creation, but to Our highest bitterness We see that almost all live at the low level of their human will... (October 30, 1932)

On April 17, 1906, Luisa made the following observation: “Yet, the cause of [chastisements] is only sin, and man does not want to surrender; it seems that man has placed himself against God, and God will arm the elements against man—water, fire, wind and many other things, which will cause many upon many to die. What fright, what horror! I felt I was dying in seeing all these sorrowful scenes; I would have wanted to suffer anything to placate the Lord.”

That was in 1906 and mankind has gone a long wrong way since then.

And then, finally, I share with you the last installment on the series of excerpts from the Manuscript of Purgatory, a historical document on the conversation between then living nun Sr. Mary of the Cross and the deceased Sr. Mary Gabriel who was in Purgatory but finally made it to Heaven as reflected in her words in the last paragraph. Here, I quote only the latter.

Sr. Mary Gabriel said: “A common life, that is what Jesus wants of you whom He cherishes so intimately. Let practical faith animate all your actions and let your trust in Jesus and His love make you undertake generously all that He requires of you. Every morning on awakening say to your Beloved: ‘My Jesus, I am ready to accomplish Your Will — what do You want me to do to please you today? Perform all your exercises of piety with great love in the presence of Jesus. You can do good for souls only in proportion as you are united to God. God is seeking for souls to repair the outrages which He receives; souls that love Him and make Him loved by others. He wants you to be of this number. At a given moment, God unmasks the plots and defeats the plans of those who do not act solely for His glory. Before allowing a soul such intimate union with Himself, Jesus purifies it by trials, and the greater his designs on a soul, all the greater are the trials.

On November 2, 1890, Sr. Mary of the Cross seemed to have already reached Heaven when she said: “ I am going to try to make you understand, as far as you can upon earth, what Heaven is like. There are ever new feasts which succeed each other without interruption. There is happiness, always new and such, it would seem, as has never been enjoyed. It is a torrent of joy which flows unceasingly over the elect. Heaven is above all and beyond all — GOD: God loved, God relished, God delighted in; in one word, it is to be satisfied with God without ever being satisfied! The more a soul loves God on earth, the higher she advances in perfection, the more she will love and understand God in Heaven.”
