It’s that time of the year again! Halloween is just around the corner and while things aren’t exactly back to normal just yet, we can always count on a good ol’ horror movie binge-fest at home to get us in the spirit of the spooky season.

Luckily, Netflix is brimming with bone-chilling content, from OG classics to modern originals. Here are five horror movies to watch on Netflix this Halloween:

As supernatural forces take control of Jack, the mother and son must save themselves from him.

His House (2020) | Director: Remi Weekes | Starring: Wunmi Mosaku, Sope Dirisu and Matt Smith

A young couple flee a war-torn South Sudan and seek asylum in England. The two move in to a new home hopeful for a fresh start, but a looming malevolent force puts their will and relationship to the test. Psycho (1960) | Director: Alfred Hitchcock | Starring: Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh

After running off with a client’s money, real estate secretary Marion Crane makes a stop in Bates Motel en route to her boyfriend’s home in the countryside. The 1998 remake of this Hitchcock classic is also available on Netflix.

The Invitation (2015) | Director: Karyn Kusama | Starring: Logan Marshall-Green, Michiel Huisman and Tammy Blanchard

As the night progresses, Will suspects his ex-wife’s dinner invitation may have ulterior motives.

Gerald’s Game (2017) | Director: Mike Flanagan | Starring: Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood
