5th District gets 3 patient transport vehicles

NEGROS Occidental Fifth District Representative Marilou T. Arroyo was able to get three Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) donated by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for the district.

The PTVs were turned over to the Municipality of Binalbagan, Municipality of Moises Padilla and the Ignacio L. Arroyo Sr. District Memorial Hospital (ILSDMH) in the Municipality of Isabela as part of their Medical Transport Vehicle Donation Program.

The two PTVs for ILSDMH and the Municipality of Binalbagan were turned over on October 22 at the Nissan North Edsa, Balintawak, Quezon City while the PTV for Moises Padilla was handed to the local government unit on October 2.

Arroyo made the request in August 2019 to PCSO to address the lack of emergency vehicles in the Fifth District.

“I would like to thank PCSO General Manager Royina Garma for helping me realize my vision to deliver quality health care services in my district. Their generous donation of PTVs to the two municipalities in my district and the Ignacio Arroyo Hospital in Isabela will be of great assistance to the people in my district, particularly those living in far-flung barangays who have limited access to health care services due to the lack of emergency transport vehicles.” Arroyo said.
