Cebu City logs 2 Covid-19 cases on October 25

CEBU City logged another record-low in the number of new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases, with two additional infections reported on Sunday, October 25.

This was the lowest number of Covid-19 cases recorded in a day since the city's quarantine status was downgraded to modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).

On September 28, Cebu City recorded three cases.

No deaths were also recorded on October 25, making the total number of deaths in the city still at 679.

The city now has a total of 10,215 confirmed Covid-19 cases, with active cases down to 213.

Actives cases are patients, symptomatic or asymptomatic, who are still positive for the virus.

The Emergency Operations Center also reported that 45 of Cebu City's 80 barangays recorded zero active cases. (RSR)
